WHO ARE WE?
J. R. Coleman Outreach Services is a
non-profit social service agency supporting the
diverse needs of the
families, children and senior citizens in the Northeast community
of Canton,
Ohio. Founded in
1974 as an outreach ministry of St. Paul’s Catholic Church
in Canton, then
Pastor Rev. J. Robert Coleman built service to the people of this
community
through his daily example and vision. It is a legacy we aspire to more
than thirty years later
– to facilitate and support the efforts of
individuals and families in achieving and
maintaining independence, security
and personal well being.

WHAT DO WE DO?
Our programs and services work in
various ways to achieve our collective mission
that assist
over 500 families
each year. Programs include:
J. R. Coleman Child Care and
Family Center – providing working families with loving
and affordable child
care
J. R. Coleman Adult Day
Care Program – providing senior citizens with daily living supports
J. R. Coleman Community
Renovation Corporation - assisting homeowners with house repairs
and
handicap accessibility renovations
St. Paul’s Senior Housing
- a
65 unit HUD subsidized apartment complex serving
low-income individuals
