It's always very difficult to ask for help or to try something new...especially when you take a great deal of pride in your independence. At J. R. Coleman we know how important that independence is.  We know you want to stay out of a nursing home.  We know you want to live at home for as long as possible.  We understand.  We respect and advocate for your right to do just that.

Our Adult Day Center for Seniors is the answer for people who seek to remain in their community as independently as possible for as long as possible.  You will make new friends.  You will enjoy music, games, outings, and special interest activities.  You will have a stronger sense of independence.  Attending just one day a week can make a big difference in your outlook and sense of well-being.

Activity Highlights for May include:

May 11th: Come and see the Fashion Show!

May 17th: Back By Popular Demand!! -- Julie Buckeye to lead Golden Grooves!  Chair dancing to get you moving!

Beginning at 1:30pm

Golden Grooves is the hottest most dynamic educational fun fitness program! Designed for seniors 70 and up!

This program is easy to do, and anyone can participate, at any activity level.

Toning, Strength Building, Increased Circulation, Rhythm Patterns, Memory Building, Clapping, Laughing, Dance Steps, Fabulous Upbeat Music!

Programs are 30-45 minutes long 

May 22nd: St. Michaels Garden Club will come to plant flowers

May 25th: You won't want to miss the trip to Amish Country!

J. R. Coleman Adult Day Center is located at the rear of Trinity United Church of Christ at 3909 Blackburn Road NW in Canton, Ohio.  We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
