J R Coleman draws on benchmarks established by Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most utilized evaluator of a charity’s financial health.  This evaluation process includes an unbiased, objective, numbers-based rating system to assess how responsibly the charity functions day to day as well as how well positioned it is to sustain its programs over time.

We  evaluate other aspects of our business operations using Venture Philanthropy Partners McKinsey Capacity Grid.  From time to time organizational assessments are conducted by outside agencies.  Most recently J. R. Coleman Community Renovation Corp. was evaluated by the Community Building Partnership.  May 2009 Organizational Assessment
